When Do I Receive My Payouts?

Makeity processes eligible creator payouts twice each month, on the 15th and the 30th.

Your payout is included in the next available payment cycle after the project has been completed, approved, and marked as eligible for payment.

First Monthly Payout

Eligible creator earnings may be processed on the 15th of each month.

Second Monthly Payout

Eligible creator earnings may be processed on the 30th of each month.

If a payment date falls on a weekend, public holiday, or non-business day, processing may continue on the next available business day.

How the Payout Schedule Works

A project must meet the payout requirements before it can be included in a payment cycle.

The project must be completed
The required content must be submitted
The business must approve the content
The order must be marked as eligible for payout
Your PayPal and verification details must be complete
Your required tax form must be submitted

Complete and Submit the Project

Finish the content according to the project brief and upload all required files through the official Makeity order.

A project cannot become eligible for payout while required content, revisions, or deliverables are still missing.

Uploading content does not always mean that the order is immediately ready for payout. The business may still need to review and approve the submitted work.

Wait for Content Approval

After you submit your content, the business may approve it or request a revision.

If a revision is requested, complete the revision and submit the updated content before the order can move forward.

Once the required content is approved and the order is completed, the earnings can move toward the next eligible payout cycle.

Your Earnings Enter the Next Payment Cycle

Eligible earnings are processed during the next available payout date: the 15th or the 30th of the month.

Example

If your project becomes eligible for payout before the 15th, it may be included in the payout processed on the 15th. If it becomes eligible after that cycle has been prepared, it may move to the payout processed on the 30th.

Becoming eligible close to a payout date does not guarantee inclusion in that same cycle. Processing and verification may already be underway.

Receive Your Payout Through PayPal

Makeity currently processes creator payouts through PayPal only.

Make sure the PayPal account connected to Makeity is active, able to receive payments, and owned by you.

Incorrect PayPal Details Can Delay Payment

Your payout may be delayed or returned if the PayPal email is incorrect, the account cannot receive payments, or the account ownership information cannot be verified.

What Must Be Completed Before Receiving a Payout?

Before Makeity can process your first payout, your payment and verification requirements must be completed.

Why Might My Payout Move to a Later Cycle?

Your payout may be moved to a later payment date when one or more requirements are incomplete.

The project has not yet been approved
A requested revision is still incomplete
The order has not yet been marked as completed
The payout cycle was already being prepared
Your PayPal email is incorrect
Your PayPal account cannot receive the payment
Your PayPal ownership verification is incomplete
Your identity document is missing or cannot be verified
Your required tax form has not been submitted
Your account or payout is undergoing a compliance review

Complete all payment requirements as early as possible to avoid unnecessary payout delays.

How Long Does PayPal Take to Show the Payment?

After Makeity processes the payout, PayPal may require additional time to display or release the payment.

Processing time can depend on your country, account status, currency, PayPal verification, and PayPal’s own security checks.

A Makeity payout date is the date the payment is processed by Makeity. The exact time it becomes available in your PayPal balance may vary.

What Should I Do If My Payout Is Missing?

First, confirm that the project is completed and that all payout requirements have been submitted.

Check the following:

Was the content approved?
Was the project completed before the payout cycle?
Is your PayPal email correct?
Can your PayPal account receive payments?
Did you verify ownership of the PayPal account?
Did you upload a valid identity document?
Did you submit the required tax form?
Did PayPal place the payment on hold?

If everything is complete and the payment is still missing, contact Makeity Support with the relevant order and payout details.
